Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

According to REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 section 9.2.2.1 column 2, this study does not need to be conducted if the substance is highly insoluble in water. The substance has a low water solubility of 0.006 mg/L. The OECD 201 and 202 studies demonstrate the difficulty to perform analytical measurement of the test substance in water solutions with the analysis showing measured concentrations being very low or around the limit of quantification, therefore it was deemed that the hydrolysis study would not be possible.

Furthermore, QSAR analysis predicted that hydrolysis was possible only in acidic conditions.
