Endpoint:
water solubility
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
2017
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
Version / remarks:
July 27, 1995

Guideline:
EPA OPPTS 830.7840 (Water Solubility)
Version / remarks:
March 1998
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
yes
Type of method:
flask method
Water solubility:
0.111 mg/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Remarks:
average of the results of the 48, 72 and 77 hours measurements
Incubation duration:
77 h
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
>= 6.5 - <= 6.6
Details on results:
The measurement for the 24 hours was not considered for the average and deviation calculation as a clear trend was seen in the results. Instead, an extra measurement was performed to evaluate and corroborate that the solution reached equilibrium.
A small response at the retention time of the test item was detected in the chromatogram of the pretreated sample from the blank water mixture. This was probably caused by contamination, since no similar response was observed in the analytical blanks.
Conclusions:
The flask method was applied for the determination of the water solubility of V123109.
The water solubility of the test item at 20°C was 0.0881 g/L.
The pH of the aqueous samples was 6.5 and 6.6.
