Description of key information

A reproductive toxicity study in two-generation rats (OECD 416) showed that Chlorobenzene, administered before mating at doses up to 450 ppm (6 hours / day, 7 days / week for 10 weeks), has no effect adverse effects on reproductive performance or fertility of rats of both sexes. The substance also did not cause any embryonic toxicity or teratogenic effect in a teratogenic study in rats and rabbits conducted in the period of major organogenesis (OECD 414) and maximum dose equal to 590 ppm.
