As solubility was dependent on nominal concentration, no exact value for the solubility of the test substance in water can be stated. Therefore, the water solubility for the test substance lays in the range: 31.8 – 183.5 mg/L at 20.0 ± 0.5°C for the following nominal concentration range of the test substance in water: 100 – 1009 mg/L. Therefore, 18.2 – 31.8% of the nominal concentration of the test substance was dissolved. As dissolved carbon was measured as sum parameter for dissolved test substance, this study could not distinguish between water solubility and hydrolysis of the test substance.

Conclusions:
Under the study conditions, water solubility of the substance was estimated to be 31.8 – 183.5 mg/L at 20.0 ± 0.5°C, corresponding to 18.2 - 31.8% of the nominal concentration.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the solubility of the substance according to OECD 105 and EU Method A.6. The solubility of the test substance in water was determined by measurement of DOC concentration (dissolved organic carbon) in the filtered test solutions using a TOC analyser. As solubility was dependent on nominal concentration, no exact value for the solubility of the test substance in water could be stated. Under the study conditions, water solubility of the substance was estimated to be 31.8– 183.5 mg/L at 20.0 ± 0.5°C, corresponding to 18.2 - 31.8% of the nominal concentration (Johannes, 2016).
