Skin Contact: Immediately flush skin with soap and plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Call a physician if symptoms occur or irritation developes and persists.
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. If not breathing, give articial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician.
Ingestion : Induce vomiting immediately, as directed by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: No specific antidote. Supportive care. Treatment based on judgment of physician in response to symptoms of patient.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: carbon dioxide, water spray or regular foam.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Handle as a highly flammable liquid.
Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards : Thermal decomposition or combustion may produce carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide.
Advice for firefighters
Protective equipment : Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and complete personal protective equipment.
Other information : Move containers away from fire areas if it can be done without risk. If impossible to remove containers from fire zone, cool them with water spray.

Accidental release measures

Personal precaution, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear personal protective equipment. Avoid contact with skin, eye and clothing.
Environmental precautions: Avoid releasing to environment.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Keep away from all ignition source. Ventilate area. Bank up sand or soil around spill to avoid releasing this material to the environment.
Scoop up spill with tool such as shovel, place in closable containers and hold for waste disposal. Use inert absorbent such as vermiculite and sand to complete pick up.
Wash spill site after material pickup is complete. Obey all Federal, State and local regulations for health & safety and environmental protection in treating spill.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Avoid breathing mist/vapours/spray.
Avoid contact of this product with acid. Keep away from all ignition sources. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Ground/Bond container and receiving equipment. Use explosion-proof electrical/ventilating/lighting/equipment. Use only non-sparking tools.
Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed. Protect from direct contact with water or moisture.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Keep away from direct sunlight, oxidizing agents. Ground/Bond container and receiving equipment.
