Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

In a GLP study, conducted according to OECD guideline 104/EU method A4, an attempt was made to measure the vapour pressure of the test material using the static method.

Over the temperature range of 29 to 70 °C no vapour pressure above background (approx. 65 Pa) could be measured. Therefore, the vapour pressure was calculated by a modified Watson method, based on the measured boiling point of the material of 399 °C.

The calculated vapour pressure was 0.00013 Pa at 20 °C and 0.00025 Pa at 25 °C. These calculated values explain the failure to measure a vapour pressure for the test material by the static method, which is recommended for vapour pressures in the range 10 to 105 Pa.
