No experimental data are available (waiving according to Column 2 of Annex IX, 9.4 of REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006).

Pronounced exposure of soil is unlikely: Due to the short carbon chain lengths of the active ingredients HMD and BHMT, the submission substance does not show surface active properties and the octanol-water partition coefficient is very low. Distribution to soil therefore is unlikely and rapid biodegradation in the water phase was consistently demonstrated. The toxicity potential towards soil organisms is assessed via equilibrium partitioning (EPM method).
