Description of key information

Based on the short term studies with standard freshwater organisms the substance is highly toxic to aquatic species. Therefore an additional study is not required for the classification of the substance. With respect to the PBT-assessment the substance fulfils the "T"-criterion. For the derivation of the PNEC of the sediment compartment the equilibrium partitioning method was used with the aquatic PNECs. The environmental exposure estimation in the CSR (chapter 9) did not result in RCR-values > 1.
