Description of key information

The vapour pressure of 4-Hydroxy-TEMPO was determined to be 0.025 Pa at 20 °C and 0.04 Pa at 25 °C respectively.

Additional information

A study was conducted according to OECD TG 104 and Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 method A.4 using the effusions method with vapour pressure balance. Therefore the vapour pressure was measured in the temperature range of 18 to 32 °C. The vapour pressure of the test item 4-Hydroxy-TEMPO was calculated by extrapolation of the measured vapour pressure curve for the temperatures 20, 25 and 50 °C. The vapour pressure was calculated to be 0.025 Pa at 20°C and 0.04 Pa at 25°C respectively. In addition the vapour pressure was calulated with EPIWIN software to be 0.00019 Pa and Sosnovsky report a vapour pressure of 13.3 Pa.
