Description of key information

In accordance with REACH Annex XI, the test on vapour pressure (required in section 7.5) was waived, as the substance is a UVCB substance consisting of different components. Thus, only a vapour pressure range could be determined. Components like water sulphuric acid or hydrogen peroxide would evaporate most likely before the main component PSOA (Peoxy sulfonated oleic acids). For one of the main components (10-hydroxy-9-sulfooctadecaneperoxoic acid) the vapour pressure was calculated by EPIWIN (Modified Grain Method). The resulting value of 4.57E-012 Pa indicates that the determination of the vapour pressure of the main components is technically not feasible, as the value is far below the limit of detection of standard guideline tests.
In conclusion, no determination of the vapour pressure of PSOA is needed.
