Description of key information

The boiling point of PSOA (under decomposition) was determined with 100.2 °C (373.3 K).

Additional information

The boiling point of PSOA (Peroxy sulfonated oleic acids) was determined in accordance to OECD guideline 103 and EU-method A.2 (Siwoloboff method). The boiling point (under decomposition) of PSOA (Peroxy sulfonated oleic acids) was determined as 100.2 °C (373.3 K), this value is the mean of two independent determinations (100.0 and 100.3°C). The test item showed clear signs of decomposition at this temperature. No observations were made which might cause doubts on the validity of the study outcome. Therefore, the result of the study is considered valid.
