Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The acute toxicity to fish was assessed with the read-across substance DL-Ethylpanthenol under static conditions to a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L. The LC50 was calculated to be > 100 mg/L. For justification of read across please refer to the attachment in IUCLID5 section 13.

Additional information

A read across approach was applied with a structural analogue DL-Ethylpanthenol to evaluate the acute toxicity to fish according to EU method C.1. For this purpose, carp were exposed for 96 hours in a static test to an aqueous test medium containing the test substance under defined conditions. The resulting 96-hour LC50 was 100 mg/L (nominal). Thus, the test demonstrates that the substance has no toxic influence on the fish.
