First-aid measures

- General advice: Do not leave affected person unattended. In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical advice. In case of unconsciousness place person in the recovery position. Never give anything by mouth.

- Following inhalation: Move the exposed person to fresh air. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

- Following skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and water

- Following eye contact: Flush thoroughly with water. If irritation occurs, get medical assistance.

- Following ingestion: Rince mouth. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.

- Most important symptoms and effects: No effects expected. Mild eye irritation might occur.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media: Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.

product itself is noncombustible; adapt fire extinguishing measures to surrounding areas

- Unsuitable extinguishing media: water jet

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Not considered flammable under normal conditions but will burn at high temperatures. Fire or excessive heat may produce hazardous decomposition products. Cool closed containers exposed to fire with water spray.

- Advice for fire fighter: Firefighters must use standard protective equipment including flame retardant coat, helmet with face shield, gloves, rubber boots, and in enclosed spaces, SCBA.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves.

- Environmental precautions: Keep away from drains, surface and ground water.

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Cover with non-combustible absorbent material. Collect to labelled, closed waste container and remove for disposal. When the spillage is removed wash contaminated surfaces with plenty of water

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling: Control spills and residues, destroying them with safe methods. Containers which were opened must be carefully closed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Handle the product in accordance with the good hygiene practices and safety instructions.
