Description of key information

The test substance is a white crystalline powder. A melting point of 84.8°C at 756.9 mm Hg (100.9 kPa) was determined using the capillary viscometer method according to OECD Guideline 102. A boiling point of 139.6°C at 756.9 mm Hg (100.9 kPa) was determined using a modification of the Siwoloboff procedure described in OECD 103. Density of 1.3967 g/cm3 at 20°C, was measured using the helium pycnometer method in accordance with OECD Guideline 109. The vapour pressure, 1.09E-4 Pa at 20°C, was determined at 20 ± 1°C using the spinning rotor gauge method in accordance with OECD Guideline 104 The partition coefficient, Log Kow, -2.17 at 25°C, was determined using the shake-flask method according to OECD Guideline 117. Water solubility of >200 mg/mL at 20°C, was determined with the column elution method according to OECD Guideline 105. Particle size distribution was conducted using dry sieve analysis for granular material in accordance with OECD Guideline 110. 78% of particulate matter was ≥250 µm, 21.0% of particulate matter was <250 µm, and the amount of particulate matter that was <20.0 µm was negligible. The test substance was not flammable in a flammability test following EU Method A.10. The substance has no groups associated with explosive properties and is not oxidising based on chemical structure.
