Description of key information

Chlorine is usually stored as a liquid under pressure in steel cylinders. The cylinders should be stored upright in a cool, dry, place, away from oxidisable materials. In the absence of substances which could act as a reaction partner, chlorine is stable for a minimum of 2 years.
