other: no mortality
Details on results:
Two fish were observed to be moribound in the 100 mg/L test tank. These were removed to avoid unnecessary distress. The firts was removed at 1610 h on the second day of the test (cs. 28 h after introduction). The second was removed at 0935 h on the last day of the test (ca. 93.5 h after initiation). No mortality was observed in any other test or control tanks.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The 96 h LC50 of the substance to rainbow trout, under semi-static conditions, was estimated to be > 100 mg/L the highest concentration tested.
The NOEC was estimated to be 10 mg/L, as this was the highest contentration where no mortality or test item related abnormalities were observed after 96 h exposure.
