Three guideline compliant terrestrial toxicity tests with N-(3-aminopropyl)-N-dodecylpropane-1,3-diamine in earthworms, plants and soil microorganisms did not produce any significant toxicity up to the highest tested concentration of 1,000 mg a.i./kg soil dw. This fact taken together with its ready biodegradability (i.e., 79% in 28 d) and low bioaccumulation potential (i.e., BCF = 3.16 L/kg ww) indicates that long-term toxicity or exposure of terrestrial organisms to the test substance is not expected.
