Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
Based on nominal concentrations, experimental median lethal Concentrations [LC-50 (96 h)] for test chemical on Zebra Fish Danio rerio was determine to be 42.25 mg/L.
Executive summary:

Study was conducted to access the effect of test chemical to zebrafishDanio rerio. Test was conducted according to OECD Guideline 203 (Fish, Acute Toxicity Test). The range of test concentration was taken to evaluate effects i.e.,25 mg/L, 32.5 mg/L, 42.25 mg/L, 54.92 mg/L & 71.4 mg/L. Experiment was performed for the period of 96 hours in a static conditions.

From the results obtained, it is observed that the median lethal concentration i.e., LC50 was to be 42.25 mg/l . Based on the LC50, it can be consider that the chemical was toxic and can be classified into aq aquatic chronic 3 as per the CLP classification criteria.

A study from peer reviewed journal states that the median lethal concentration (LC50) value of test chemical to fish (Oryzias latipes) in a 24 study on mortality effect was determined to be 40mg/L.

Another study from peer reviewed journal states The median lethal concentration (LC50) value of test chemical to fish (Oryzias latipes) in a 48 hr study on mortality effect was determined to be 25 mg/L.

Data from the authoritative database stats that, The test was conducted based on the oecd guidelines 203 for the period of 96 h.The median lethal concentration, LC50 value of test chemical to fish was determined to be 26 mg/L.

Based on the various outcomes the test chemical can be classified into the Aq chronic category 3
