First-aid measures
General advice :
Inhalation : Not expected to present an inhalation exposure at normal conditons. Remove
individual to fresh air and consult a physician.
Skin contact : Immediately and thoroughly, wash off with soap and water.
Eye contact : Immediately rinse with water for 15 minutes ormore. Hold eyelids apart while
flushing in order to rinse the entire surface of the eye. Seek medical attention.
Ingestion : Drink 1-2 glasses of water and seek medical attention.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Symptoms : No information is on file to date regarding acute and/or delayed post-exposure
symptoms and effects.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: Dry chemical, water fog, regular foam
Unsuitable extinguishing media: no information
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Combustion products may include sulfur and nitrogen compounds. Water or foam may cause frothing which can be violent, especially if sprayed into containers of hot, burning liquid.
Advice for firefighters
As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, (MSHA/NIOSH approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.
Use water spray to cool fire endanger container . Fire-fighters should wear positive-pressure self-contained breathing apparatus to avoid exposure to smoke and vapor.
Accidental release measures
- Personal precautions: no information
- Protective equipment and emergency procedures: no information
- Environmental precautions: no information
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Take up with absorbent material (eg sand, kieselguhr, universal binder). Dispose of absorbed material in accordance with the regulations.
Handling and storage
- Precautions for safe handling:
Handling : no data available
Hygiene measures : Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately.
Keep away from foodstuffs and beverages. Wash hands before breaks and after work.
Do not eat, drink or smoke when working.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Prevention of fire and explosion
Information : None known
Storage
Information : Keep in closed or covered containers when not in use. Store in cool, dry place with adequate ventilation. Do not store near heat or open flame.
Further information on storage conditions: Exercise caution when handling contents of the container. Wash with soap and water before eating, drinking, smoking, or using toilet facilities. Whenever possible, use mechanical means to move large and/or heavy objects to help prevent back injuries.

Engineering controls
Appropriate engineering controls: Provide sufficient ventilation to maintain exposure below established exposure limits and to avoid effects of overexposure. This product may contain trace amounts of ethylene oxide and 1,4 Dioxane which could accumulate in the headspace of drums and bulk containers. If the product is handled as recommended in this MSDS, the trace amounts of ethylene oxide and 1,4 Dioxane are not expected to result in any acute or chronic hazards.
Personal protective equipment
Eye protection : Chemical splash proof goggles.
Hand protection : Wear protective gloves such as: Neoprene or Buna-N.
Body Protection : No information
Respiratory protection : If TLV exceeds recommended limits use a NIOSH approved respirator.
