Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

Adsorption kinetics:
1) Loamy sand

K   = 0.012 l/g

Koc = 0.748 l/g

% of test substance adsorbed: 70.7

2) Clay

K   = 0.025 l/g

Koc = 1.56  l/g

% of test substance adsorbed: 82.5

3) Silt loam

K   = 0.004 l/g

Koc = 0.274 l/g

% of test substance adsorbed: 44.8

The test substance readily adsorbs to a range of soil types.

Adsorption isotherms:
Under the aerated shaking conditions required by the test
method, significant breakdown of the test substance occured.
This occurence prevented the determination of adsorption

and desorption isotherms described as the advanced test.

Mass balance:
Desorption:

1) Loamy sand

% of test substance desorbed: 17.4

2) Clay

% of test substance desorbed: 28.0

3) Silt loam

% of test substance adsorbed: 46.7

Less than 50 % of the test substance is desorbed.
