Details on results:
Preliminary test
The solubility of the test substance in purified water and pH 5 buffer was determined to be between 22 and 54 g/L, in pH 7 buffer between 250 and 510 g/L and in pH9 buffer > 500 g/L. A full solubility test at pH 9 was not performed due to the high solubility of the compound and the difficulty encountered when trying to maintain the pH at 9.

Main test
The results for the samples are given in the table underneath.

 Samples Analysed concentration (g/L)
purified water  45.2 g/kg of solution
purified water  47.4 g/L of water
 pH 5  57.6 g/kg of solution
 pH 5  61.1 g/L of buffer
 pH 7  239 g/L solution

Applicant's summary and conclusion
