Based on the Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment Chapter R.7.a Endpoint specific guidance the flammability for liquids is determined by the flash point (section R.7.1.10.1 page 121). DCA is a liquid and has a flash point of > 110°C. Based on experience DCA has no pyrophoric properties and does not ignite or liberate flammable gases when in contact with water. Therefore this endpoint requirement is waived.
