Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

A 48-h semi-static acute toxicity test (Institute of industrial organic chemistry, 2017) on neonates (< 24 h old) of Daphnia magna was performed under GLP conditions according to OECD 202 (2004). The EC50 value of the test item was determined to be higher than 6.16 mg/L after 48 hours.

Toxicity to aquatic plants other than algae

The growth of Lemna gibba exposed to the test item was investigated in a 7 day semi-static test (Institute of industrial organic chemistry, 2017) according to OECD 221 (2006). After 7 days, the ErC50 was determined to be 72.09 mg/L, the ErC10 was determined to be 1.20 mg/L and the NOEC was determined to be 0.59 mg/L. The endpoint values were based on the dry weight determinations and on the time-weighted mean of determined test item concentrations.

Toxicity to microorganisms

The toxic effects of the test substance on the oxygen consumption rate of aerobic micro-organisms (activated sludge) after short-term exposure of 180 min was determined according to the OECD 209 (2010). The EC10 and the EC50 were determined to be > 1000 mg/L.
