Conclusion on classification

Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008

The available experimental test data are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. The test substance was found to be not readily biodegradable under the test conditions. The most sensitive test for the aquatic compartment was the short-term toxicity test to aquatic invertebrates. This study revealed a 48h-EC50 of 6.16 mg/L. In addition the toxicity of the test substance to the aquatic plant Lemna gibba was determined. After 7 days the ErC10 was determined to be 1.20 mg/L and the ErC50 was determined to be 72.09 mg/L. Based on these results, the substance is not classified for the short-term aquatic toxicity but based on these results the substance is classified for the long-term toxicity as category 2 according to table 4.1.0 of Annex I of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 with H411: Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects, according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) as amended for the tenth time in Commision Regulation (EU) No 2017/776.
