Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
Category 1 (corrosive) based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
Lithium amide causes severe skin burns and eye damage.
Executive summary:

Based on the descriptions in the Hommel handbook, lithium amide causes severe skin burns and eye damage. There is also a risk of irreversible damage of the eyes (e.g. blindness). Lung and larynx edema could also occur even with a delay of 2 days.
