JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
For solids, self-heating may occur by reaction with air with subsequent ignition. Therefore solids need to be considered under self heating substances instead of self- ignition. According to Table R.7.1-9 of the ECHA Guidance on Information Requirements and Chemical Safety assessment, Chapter R.7a (Version 6, July 2017), the UN test method N.4 is preferred to generate the information for this endpoint. Please refer to IUCLID section 4.13 for further information on the self heating properties of the test substance.
