Additional information

A measured flash point value of 72°C at 1013 hPa was determined for the substance using a Pensky-Martens closed-cup apparatus in accordance with ISO 2719 test method and in compliance with GLP. The result is considered to be reliable and is selected as key study. The key study is supported by a measured flash point value of 67°C at 1013 hPa which was determined for the substance using a rapid equilibrium method and in compliance with a known quality system (ISO 9001). Although full details are not available, the result is considered to be reliable. The key study is selected as the study which is recently conducted and with the highest reliability.

A measured flash point of 72°C at 1013 hPa and measured boiling point of 191.4±0.5°C at 1013 hPa indicates that the substance should not be classified for flammability in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
