Test #1

- Duration of the test: 795 minutes

- Observations: no self-ignition temperature was recorded up to 420°C. An exothermic reaction was observed from 385 minutes to 448 minutes. The maximal temperature recorded during this exothermic reaction was 278°C at 413 minutes (oven temperature = 238°C). The temperature of the test item at the end of the test was 439°C

Test #2

- Duration of the test: 798 minutes

- Observations: no self-ignition temperature was recorded up to 420°C. An exothermic reaction was observed from 425 minutes to 500 minutes. The maximal temperature recorded during this exothermic reaction was 282°C at 455 minutes (oven temperature = 248°C).

Conclusions:
According to the criteria as described in EU Method A.16 of Directive 92/69/EEC, the substance is not self-ignitable.

Additional information

As the substance is not placed on the market as such, but as part of an oil-containing mixture only, it is not considered warranted to conduct the UN test with the substance for compliance with the CLP Regulation. It is therefore not determined whether the substance is self-ignitable according to the CLP Regulation.
