The registration substance is a surface active substance and a strong base which is mostly protonated under environmental conditions and therefore the n-octanol/water partition coefficient (log Kow) of DIMAPDO hydrochloride was estimated according to EU method A.8, 31 May 2008by calculation based on the solubility of the test substance in n-Octanol (6.1 g/L) and water (CMC = 0.009 g/L).
The log Kow of DIMAPDO hydrochloride is 2.85 at 25°C.
