In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the ready biodegradability study (required in section 9.2.1.1) is not required as the substance is inorganic.
Furthermore, in accordance with REACH Annex XI section 2, biodegradability testing for information requirement points 9.2.1.2, 9.2.1.3 and 9.2.1.4 is not required as the substance is inorganic and hence biotic degradation cannot occur. Testing for these endpoints has been omitted on the basis that testing is not technically feasible.
