Any other information on results incl. tables

Calibration factors for the pycnometer used in tests 1 and 2 were calculated as 0.99910 and 0.99754 respectively.

The test substance density was determined as 1138.0 kg/m³ (mean of 1137.6 and 1138.3 kg/m³ for tests 1 and 2 respectively).

Relative density was calculated as:

= (mass of 1 m³ test substance at 20 °C) / (mass of 1 m³ water at 4 °C)

= 1138.0 / 1000.0

= 1.1380

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The relative density of DMBC has been determined as 1.1380 at 20 °C.
Executive summary:

The relative density of DMBC has been determined as 1.1380 at 20 °C. The test was conducted in accordance with EEC Method A3.
