Description of key information

With reference to Section 5.1.2 endpoint summary, isocyanates (i.e. m-tolyl isocyanate) are rapidly hydrolysed (DT50 <1h) under environmentally relevant conditions. Therefore, it is appropriate to conduct biodegradability screening testing (in the aqueous compartment) on the primary amine transformation product, in this instance, m-toluidine.
