Description of key information
The surface tension of a 90% saturated aqueous solution of Violiff was determined according to EU Method A.5 and resulted in 59.7 mN/m at 21°C This value is very close to the cut off value of 60 mN/m below which a substance may be considered surface active according to EC A5 guideline. In view of the result being very close to the cut off value this effect does not need to be considered for the risk assessment.
