Boiling pt.:
ca. 302 - ca. 304 °C
Atm. press.:
1 Bar
Decomposition:
yes
Decomp. temp.:
>= 302 - <= 304 °C

The mass loss after the DSC measurements amounted to 100 %. After the DSC measurements the aluminium crucibles showed few black residues. Due to this it can be concluded that the test item boiled under decomposition.

Conclusions:
The test item had a boiling range at atmospheric pressure of 302 °C to 304 °C. It boiled under decomposition.
Executive summary:

The purpose of this study was the determination of the boiling point of the test item according to the following guidelines:

European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, A.2. Boiling point / boiling range OECD test guideline, OECD 103 (1995) Boiling point/ boiling range and US EPA Product Properties Test Guideline OCSPP 830.7220.

The boiling point / boiling range is determined by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The test item and the reference are heated up from the starting temperature to the final temperature at a constant heating rate (10 K/min) in a defined atmosphere (nitrogen). Crucibles with a small hole are used as containers for the test item and as empty reference crucible. The quantity of heat absorbed or released is measured and recorded.
