Additional information

The test substance   Propoxylated neopentyl glycol has been found to the readily biodegradable. As such removal in the environment is expected to be rapid and so further information on abiotic removal, transport and distribution are not required.

There is no risk of persistence in the environment and biological removal processes will be rapid with complete mineralization expected within a short time frame.

Propoxylated neopentyl glycol has a low log Kow of 1.7 and so no significant adsorption or potential for bioaccumulation is expected.

Propoxylated neopentyl glycol has a low vapour pressure of 0.05 Pa at 25 degrees celcius. As such no significant partitioning to air will occur.
