Conclusions:
The density of the test item RED HF2 was determined to be 1087.7 kg/m3 at 20.0 +/- 0.1°C (mean of the two determinations).
The relative density of the test item was determined to be D204 = 1.088
Executive summary:

The purpose of this study was to determine the density of test item RED HF2 at 20°C.

The density of a chemical is the quotient of its mass and its volume. It is expressed in SI units as kg/m3 at a specified temperature.

The study was conducted in accordance with the following guidelines:

  • OECD Guidelines for the Testing of Chemicals, Method No. 109, adopted 02. Oct. 2012: “Density of Liquids and Solids “(1)

  • Commission Regulation No 440/2008 on test methods, Method A.3: “Relative Density”(2)

In addition, the pycnometers used were designed to comply with the guideline ISO 3507. (1999). Laboratory glassware – Pyknometers (3).

The density was calculated using the formulas from the guideline NF T 20-053. (1985). Produits chimiques à usage industriel – Détermination de la masse volumique des solides en poudre et des liquides – Méthode pycnométrique (4).

The density of the test item RED HF2 was determined to be 1087.7 kg/m3 at 20.0 +/- 0.1°C (mean of the two determinations).

The relative density of the test item was determined to be D204 = 1.088
