Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The key ecotoxicity values to assess the aquatic toxicity of the registered substance are as follow:

- Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates: 48h-EC50 > 81.220 mg/L (Daphnia magna);

- Toxicity to aquatic plants other than algae: 7d-ErC50 = 91.5 mg/L and 7d-ErC10 = 39.6 mg/L (Lemna minor).

Those results are expressed as measured concentrations (geometric means)

Based on these results, the lowest acute E(L)C50 is above 1 mg/L (between 10 and 100 mg/L).

CLP Classification proposal

It is proposed to compare submission substance dataset to CLP environmental criteria laid down in CLP Regulation (including 2nd Adaptation to Technical Progress, Com Reg No 286/2011).

Acute aquatic hazard: not classified. Reasoning: lowest E(L)C50 above 1 mg/L.

Chronic aquatic hazard: not classified. Reasoning: adequate chronic toxicity data are not available, the lowest E(L)C50 is between 10 and 100 mg/L, the substance is considered as rapidly degradable and the log koc was estimated to be < 0.
