The substance is not readily biodegradable in the available OECD 301B study. After 28 days only 28 % degradation are observed. However, no plateau is reached at the end of the study and further biodegradation can be assumed. In addition, the substance is hydrolytically instable showing a half life about 7 days at 25 °C. As the transformation products are not identified and no additional information are available, the substance is considered to be persistent in the context of the PBT assessment.
As the substance shows a log Pow value of 2.3 and the substance is considered to be metabolised quickly, no relevant potential for bioaccumulation is assumed. Screening regarding the T criteria shows no indication, that the substance has to be considered T in the context of the PBT assessment.
Summarizing all available information the substance is considered not to fulfil the screening criteria of the PBT assessment and no further investigations are considered to be necessary.
