Appearance:

On the basis of physical observation and using the sense of smell, 2-Naphthalenamine, N-(2 -ethylhexyl)-1 -[[4 - (phenylazo) phenyl]azo]-, ar' and ar''-Me derivs was observed to be a dark red clear liquid.

Melting point:

The Freezing point of 2-Naphthalenamine, N-(2-ethylhexyl)-1-[[4- (phenylazo)phenyl]azo]-, ar' and ar''-Me derivs.; CAS No. 92257 -28-8 was determined with Freezing Temperature Method and it was determine to be less than - 8.14 °C at 966.8 hPa.

Boiling Point:

The boiling point determination of 2-Naphthalenamine, N-(2-ethylhexyl)-1-[[4- (phenylazo)phenyl]azo]-, ar' and ar''-Me derivs. (CAS No. 92257-28-8) was done following OECD Guideline 103 and according to the method of Siwoloboff. The test was conducted in replicates and mean was determine to be 184.3°C at 967.4 hPa.

Density:

The density of test item 2-Naphthalenamine, N-(2-ethylhexyl)-1-[[4-(phenylazo)phenyl]azo]-, ar' and ar''-Me derivs. (CAS No. 92257 -28-8)was determined following OECD Guideline 109 and according to the Test methods: Pour density and tapped density of powders” recommended in The International Pharmacopoeia, Fourth Edition, 2014 using pyknometer. The mean density of test item was determine to be 1.1201 g/cm³at 20 °C and 968.7 hPa.

The study does not need to be conducted because the substance is marketed or used in a non solid or granular form.
