Additional information

Experimental data on the adsorption potential of Glycerol monomyristate (CAS 27214-38-6) are not available. The assessment is based on QSAR calculations conducted with two representative constituents of the UVCB substance. A moderate to high adsorption potential of the constituents is predicted. Calculations based on the molecular connectivity index (MCI) predicted log Koc values ranging from 2 – 5.88. The log Kow regression model predicted log Koc values ranging from 2.608 to 6.544.

Not all constituents are completely within the applicability domain of the models. However, as explained in the field overall remarks and in attachments in the respective robust study summaries, the results were deemed adequate and reliable to be used in a weight of evidence approach in accordance to the REACh Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex XI General rules for adaptation of the standard testing regime set out in Annexes VII to X, 1.2.
