Description of key information

No data on repeated dose toxicity is available for the reaction mass of 1-chlorodecane and 1-chlorododecane.
According to published data on the US EPA website 1-chlorododecane was tested in a combined oral repeated-dose/reproductive/developmental toxicity screening study. In this study administration of the test item by gavage resulted in liver effects in males at 100 mg/kg bw/day, no NOAEL was established. In females adrenal and thymus effects occured at 300 mg/kg bw/day, a NOAEL of 100 mg/kg bw/day was derived.
