Description of key information

The acute oral toxicity of the reaction mass of 1-chlorodecane and 1-chlorododecane in the rat is low. In the key study summarized in this dossier the LD50 of the reaction mass of 1-chlorodecane and 1-chlorododecane is >20000 mg/kg bw.
According to published data on the US EPA website the acute oral toxicity of 1-chlorododecane was tested in the rat resulting in an LD50 > 2000 mg/kg bw.
