Tetramethyltrimethylenediamine (TMPDA)

has been found to be harmful to daphnia (EC50_48h of 52.8 mg/L). In addition, TMPDA can be considered as toxic to algae (EC50_72h of 10 mg/L) but no toxicity was observed at 100 mg/L for fish and at 1000 mg/L for microorganisms. Concerning the chronic toxicity data, an EC10_72h of 1.1 mg/L was obtained for algae and a NOEC_21d of 0.44 mg/L for daphnia.
