Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
11.7 °C

Additional information

Flash point test was conducted on the target substance following ASTM D93, closed cup method using Pensky-Marten apparatus. The result was below 40°C but no actualy value was determined due to out of the range of the test apparatus.

As the target substance contained residual 2 -propanol up to 10 wt% and the target substance was hydrolytically unstable when coming into contact with water, releasing 2 -propanol as hydolysis product, the flash point of 2 -propanol was used for read-across.

Flash point of 11.7°C obtained from ILO-ICSC datasheet was used for CSA.
