Conclusion on classification

The substance is not legally classified as dangerous for the environment and so neither included in Annex I of Directive 67/548/EEC nor in Regulation 1272/2008 (CLP). According to the information summarised in this chapter, the substance should not be classified for the following reasons:

- no effects were determined in acute tests (Lemna, daphnids and fish)

- the most sensitive chronic toxicity for Bayscript gelb GGN is to Lemna, as a NOEC of 25 mg/L has been determined for 7 d

- The substance is not readily biodegradable
