Water solubility was found to be > 245 g/L. Therefore, the flask method was used to determine water solubility of the test item.

A further stirring test was performed before the main test, to determine the highest test item concentration that can be sufficiently stirred in a mixture with water.

After the equilibration time, precipitate was seen in the flaks with the exception of the blank experiment. Water solubility of the test item was calculated from the measured concentration of potassium based on a mass fraction of potassium (42.44 mol%) of the test item. Water solubility was calculated from measured unrounded concentration values and not from rounded values.
