One study (Benijts, 1999) according to OECD 301D (Closed Bottle Test), investigating the ready biodegradability of Fatty acids, C8-10, Me esters (CAS 85566-26-3), is available. At test termination after 28 days a degradation of 77% was observed and the 14-d window was reached. Therefore, the test substance is readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
The results are in consistence with all further members of the category for which ready biodegradability was observed.
