The toxicity to terrestrial organisms was assessed in a long-term toxicity study on Eisenia fetida according to ISO 11268 -2 (BASf SE 2007), a test on terrestrial plants according to OECD guideline 208 (BASF 2012) and a test on soil microorganisms according to OECD guideline 216 (BASF SE 2007).

The toxicity values for Eisenia fetida are as follows: NOEC (56 d): 100 mg/kg soil dw test mat. based on reproduction; NOEC (28 d): > 1000 mg/kg soil dw test mat. based on growth (i.e. biomass development); EC50 (56 d): 492 mg/kg soil dw test mat. based on reproduction; LC 50 (28 d): > 1000 mg/kg soil dw test mat. based on mortality.

The toxicity values for terrestrial plants are as follows: EC10 (Avena sativa) = 143 mg/kg soil dw, EC10 (Brassica napus) = 287 mg/kg soil dw, EC10 (Vicia sativa) = 72 mg/kg soil dw.

The toxicity values for soil microorganisms are as follows: NOEC (28 d): 31.6 mg/kg soil dw test mat. based on nitrate formation rate; EC50 (28 d): > 1000 mg/kg soil dw test mat. based on nitrate formation rate.
