Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Adsorption to the solid soil phase can be expected.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The KOC was estimated based on several estimation methods: KOCWIN v2.00 (Episuite) using MCI and logKow and regression estimations according to Lyman, Reehl, Rosenblatt: Handbook of Chemical Property Estimation Methods, 1990 using water solubility and logKow. Based on these models the KOC values range from 213 to 3152 .

The estimations are within the applicability domain of the model.

KOC values:

MCI method: 213.6 L/kg

Estimate from logKow: 504 L/kg

Estimate from water solubility and logKow: 1401 - 3152

Therefore, the substance has a limited mobility in soil and adsorption to the solid soil phase can't be excluded. As for the Episuite estimations the structural fragments were considered and more details on the applicability domain are available, the mean value of the EPIsuite estimation (358.8L/kg) was used for PNEC derivation and exposure assessment.
