Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Two studies on biodegradation are available on the substance. In a CO2 evolution test conducted according to OECD guideline 301 B (2000) the test substance was not degraded. Only up to 3 % degradation was determined based on CO2 formation. This outcome was confirmed in a MITI-test conducted according to OECD 301 C (2000). Specific analysis via HPLC was applied for the main constituents and its by-products. As in the 301 B test no significant mineralisation was observed in the 301 C test. Based on the HPLC measurements it could be shown that the concentration of the main constituent slightly increased (+8%) and the by-products disappeared by being degraded to the main constituent. No further degradation products were detected.
